If that’s you, you might be interested in the Spring Run Club 2024.

What is It?

  • It’s six, 70-minute sessions on Saturday morning from from late October to early November (630-740am)

  • Start Date = Saturday 26th October

  • End Date = Saturday 30th November

  • It’s based at Houghton Park, Bayswater

  • It’s a collaboration between Extension Fitness and Say Yes Fitness

  • It’s facilitated by Tim Karajas (BSc Physio, Cert IV Fitness + years of experience as a runner and running coach)

  • It’s a combo of DOING and LEARNING (DOING = running workouts, drills, technique practice, strength work, stretching … LEARNING = understanding good form, learning how to train intelligently, getting knowledge on injury prevention)

Who’s it for?

Everyone is welcome, but Run Club is most suited for these people:

  • Men and women 35 and over

  • Inexperienced or moderately experienced runners

  • Experienced runners who’ve had an extended break and want to re-start

  • Fitness runners (“I want to be comfortable on the treadmill”)

  • People interested in training for an event like the HBF Run For A Reason (“I want to run the whole HBF 12K” or “I want to run a faster Parkrun”)

Meet Coach Tim Karajas!

What’s good about him?

Well, Tim holds a BSc in Physio (2000) and a Cert IV in Fitness.

He’s an experienced Personal Trainer / Strength & Fitness Coach.

He’s helped many people find their running form and improve their fitness.

But most of all, he knows how to help you build your running fitness alongside your busy life.

(Because he’s done it himself).

What’s included?

There’s two packages: basic and comprehensive.

Basic package - $200

  • Six running sessions and practical workshops

  • 1 x 45-minute PT Session (with Tim Karajas) to learn the fundamentals of strength training for running

  • Weekly email recapping workshop content

  • (Optional) weekly running homework

  • E-Book on foundational knowledge for distance running

  • HBF Run For A Reason or City To Surf Training Program

What if I can’t make all the sessions?
